Living the '80s is a six-piece South Florida band dedicated to bringing the most eclectic and beloved songs of the 1980s back to life on stage. Founded by Dr. Lewis Singer, the band was built on a simple premise: the '80s produced hundreds of great songs that rarely get performed live today, simply because they didn't land in the top slots of the Billboard charts.
With lead vocals and keyboards, saxophone and flute, guitar, bass, drums, and a dedicated sound engineer, Living the '80s delivers a rich, full sound and a high-energy show. The repertoire runs about 75 songs, mainly '80s with some '70s and '90s depending on the crowd, and the band has played for audiences of up to 1,000 at city events, chamber of commerce festivals, restaurants, and private events throughout South Florida.
